The Safety Limit Switch, for all L systems, prevents the unintended movement of the L systems. By activating the SLS switch, the actuator or column connected to the system automatically locks when they encounter an obstacle and start running in the opposite direction. SLS can be used with normally open or normally closed micro-switches.

Application

The SLS safety switch is compatible with theL control unit series. When the safety switch is activated, the system stops by moving the actuator/column for about 40 mm or for 4 seconds in the opposite direction. The return distance will never be greater than the stroke that the system performed before activation. For example, if the system is running at 25 mm and the safety switch is activated, the stroke will be 25 mm in the opposite direction. SLS is activated by default in both directions. Alternatively, if you want to activate the switch only in one direction, you can change this parameter via the configurator. It is possible to add up to 4 safety switches per control unit. These will only be active on the connected reference channel and only when running.
